Kapok vs Polyester padding

We choose the natural way

Today's sleeping bags are filled with polyester stuffing,
a 100% synthetic material that wraps your baby in a plastic derivative.

At Plumetine we have opted for a natural solution.

Polyester filling

A petrochemical fibre

It is a so-called synthetic fibre produced from petroleum elements. In other words, it is a plastic derivative.

Like all products using plastic, polyester is an unsustainable material, with a negative environmental impact process.

Poor performance

Poor thermal regulation

Polyester is not breathable and does not properly release the excess heat and moisture generated during babies sleep.

At Plumetine, we believe that polyester padding has no place in your baby's sleeping bag.
